Introduction

Nice to meet you if this is our first time meeting, and good morning if it is not.

I am Twil3akine. It is pronounced Twil-ee-kine, but honestly, you can call me whatever you like.

I am currently a 4th-year student in the Faculty of Systems Engineering at Wakayama University. I belong to the “IoT and Social Application Laboratory,” where I study SAT and scheduling optimization.

Competitive Programming

I started around March or April 2024 and continue to enjoy it as a hobby. I mainly participate in both the Algorithm and Heuristic categories of AtCoder . When I feel like I am lacking my daily dose of competitive programming, I also join contests on Codeforces , Repovive , and TopCoder .

To be honest, while I appreciate that international contests start late, isn’t it a bit tough that they also end so late…?

Repovive | Tech Interview Prep and Hiring Network
Tech interview prep with AI mock interviews, courses, coding contests, and hands-on practice. Practice with realistic voice AI interviewers and build strong fundamentals for top tech interviews.

Topcoder Top Technology Talent On-Demand
Topcoder is home to the world’s largest community of designers, developers, and data scientists. Allowing you the freedom to start and execute faster.

I prefer Heuristics over Algorithms and long-term contests over short-term ones, which probably makes me a bit of an outlier in the competitive programming community. My goals for 2026 are to reach Green in Algorithms and to hit a rating of 1800 in Heuristics.

I have released a service for competitive programming practice. Please give it a try! Also, I would appreciate any bug reports or feature requests.

Additionally, I serve as the representative of the Wakayama-University Competitive Programming Club.

Skills

・Rust

It has been almost two years since I started using it, but honestly, there is still so much I do not know. Since I use it almost exclusively for competitive programming, I barely know how to use crates that are not used in that field. Still, I use it because it is cool. I am a Rust believer.

・Python

I think it has been about three years now. I feel like I can use it better than Rust, but to be honest, it is questionable. I do not use object-oriented programming much, and my skills are quite shaky. We program based on vibes. Python is just a shell script that can do anything. I will not hear otherwise.

・JS/TS

It might be two and a half years since I started? Honestly, I have built various websites, but since I leave most of the work to LLMs, if you asked me to write code from scratch… hehe… I can read it, though. I can at least read it.
